How to connect the light strip with the extension cable?

Insert the cut end into the connector after peeling off a bit of the blue tape. You can also peel off a little bit of the white tape beneath that to expose the copper contacts - but the connector contacts can pierce that layer if you don't want to peel off the white layer also. (Don't peel it all off, just enough to fit into the connector.) Insert the end, press down the hinged part until it clicks or is otherwise all the way clamped - don't need tools, just your fingers squeezing it is enough. Test the assembly by plugging it into the power supply.
